Wehrpass to Austrian Josef Schatzlmayr - from 1939 to 1943 Two promotions, letter of personal effects, letter to mother and a certificate for an Iron Cross 2nd class. Certificate signed by General Anton Grasser (highly decorated German general) Also includes EKII medal Served with Artillery Regiment 262, later assigned to 9th army 109 rgt and 848 artillery. Josef servied in France (Maginot Line) moving through Yugoslavia and took part in the opening battles of Operation Barbarossa - the Battle for Smolensh in 1941. Took part in the highly successful double battle for Wjasma and Brjansk. Then on towards Moscow and a series of defensive battles. Kiiled in 1943 serving with Army Group Centre near Jegorie in Russia. Free UK post. Overseas £3
