LOT 552Seller's Estimate: USD 350 - 450Welch, Spring & Co., Forestville, Conn., "Italian No. 3" shelf clock in a rosewood veneered case with a spring driven, 8 days, time and strike movement and a B. B. Lewis patented perpetual calendar mechanism, c1872.Condition Report:The case retains an original finish. There is a bit of roughness in the finish along the bottom edge. The upper dial has a more recent paper dial that has been varnished. The original painted calendar dial is in very good condition, The lower door back has the standard round B. B. Lewis Perpetual Calendar label and a very nice interior label, The hands are original. The movement is signed. Ht 18 1/4".Payment:The buyer is responsible for paying the seller directly after winning the item.
