Up for auction is a 5 well oyster plate. The plate was made by Theodore Haviland, Limoges, France circa 1900.The plate is round l with a scalloped outer edge . The outer edge is decorated in gold. The flower decoration is of bunches of pansy's sczttered over the surface of the plate. .The overall condition of the plate is very good with no cracks or crazing. The gold trim is in very good condition with little or no signs of wear and the pansy transfers are in good shape as well.The plate is about 8 7/8" in diameter..The plate is marked on the reverse with the Haviland mark in use around 1900Successful bidder to pay shipping based on 3 lbs. from Zip Code 06001, insurance will be additional.
