This vase belonged to my mother-in-law and, unfortunately, has a large 1 inch square chip on the outside rim. Definitely the "wall side". Vase is 8 inches high and 4 inches in diameter. It has a woodland scene with a waterfall (I think, since t is also blue like a river lower on the vase--but the waterfall could be sky I suppose). Its still a really pretty vase and both she and I used it a lot. Since the chip is on the outside it doesn't affect holding water (and actually isn't noticeable then when you put the chip to the wall). Bottom has usual scuffing from use but, overall--and except for the glaring chip--the vase is in very good shape. Stamped Weller Pottery on the bottom and some initials--F N (?-not sure about that) and III or something similar. Not a pottery person myself but if you know Weller you'll probably know.
