It is generally conceded that the late Karl Erik was the carver for the old 1970s Wenhall freehand pipes. And is this one ever a beauty! Check out the terrific straight grain around the bowl and handsome plateau rim. This is an estate piece with well used but clean and solid bowl interior. The vulcanite stem has oxidized and has some very light tooth indents on top near the button and two more noticable tooth marks on the bottom (as seen in the photos). None are compromising. Approximate measurements: 5-1/2 inches long. 2-1/4 inch bowl height. 1-1/2 inches across the width of the rim. The chamber width is .90 inches. Weight is exactly 46.1 grams.
