WERRA 1 35mm Camera The Werra is a 35mm rangefinder camera manufactured by the Carl Zeiss Jena factory which was primarily a lens-making plant. The Werra is named after a small river in Germany . The camera offers a high degree of control with a minimum number of levers, knobs or rings. In the simplest incarnation, the Werra featured only a shutter release button on the top plate. With streamline styling, one could call the Werra a design camera. Nearly all other controls were incorporated into the lens barrel. Werra cameras were manufactured from 1955 to 1968. This Werra has a 50mm f/2.8 Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar lens, and a Prestor RVS shutter. The shutter speed range is B-750 sec. The aperture range is f/2.8-16. Winning bidder will receive the special lens shade and lens cover.
