Still hard to find are Belgian tabletop radio's , this one is made in 1956 and is still in very good condition ! This RARE Aristona SA 3040 A radio is made in Belgium ( Brussels )!!!!!! This is a really hard to find radio , I can tell you that , not many of these were made .An unbelievable nice design....as ARISTONA build wooden tabletop radio’s with the Chassis from Philips. So a very rare model. This brand is well know due collectors by the strange designs they made. I have put the radio through its paces and found everything to still work and work well. The bad components are replaced by new, this radio is complete chequed by a pro.Bad tubes and capacitors are changed.. The sound is great and it should be...there are 2 speakers in the cabinet. The speakers are pointed on both sides of the radio . The grills on both sides are perfect no cracks or anything and they are huge, they are like new, that gives an extra attention when you look at the radio.Mostly due the years there are scratches or holes in it.The way the speakers are placed on this tube radio gives a more powerful sound to the front where people are situated...
