Description: You are bidding on a very cool and very collectible Westclox Alarm Clock.. This is one of the animated clocks produced in the late '40's or early '50's.. by the Canada based Westclox co. I dont really have any expertise on wind-up clocks .. but I will tell you that I wound it up on Saturday and it ran until late Sunday ,and it kept perfect time.. I wish I had a "you tube" for you to view it.. but t are some live videos of this clock as it works out t on the internet.. True to its' Nickname "Rockin' Robin" The bird bobs up and down with the worm as the clock ticks.. It is 4" in Diameter ..and 4.5 " tall including the base. You can see the case is a green and cream colored version.. It is marked "Made In Canada" beneath the front bottom lip.. and also has patent dates on the back for Canada - 1946 ( very hard to make out) ..I will let my photos do the rest .. All this and No Reserve!! You will be happy! CONDITION: Please view my gallery photos and enlarge for details,they are part of the description.. the paint is partially gone in areas (mostly on the base) and t are some rough areas and light spots of surface rust on the base,as well. read more
