This book was published in Japan in 1930 and only 500 copies were printed of the ordinary edition. Given a world war and time it is unlikely that more than 250 copies have survived in the world. I have o nly seen one other copy of this book for sale on the internet this past year and at a very much higher price. Published by J.L. Thompson & Co. (Retail) Kobe Japan in 1930. Author M. Paske-Smith, C.B.E. It has 431 pages of text, over 40 illustrations, fold out plates and maps. there are Yokohama market reports and prices of American Drills (?) to Handkerchiefs ! A very readable history of European Life and trade in Japan. Very useful for authors or students of the far east. FREE Shipping to Canada and the US. For international rate contact seller.
