A WESTERN ELECTRIC 128-B Transmitter Faceplate Number Card Holder. It is stamped: Pat. in USA Oct. 24, 1905, July 17, 1906. These were used exclusively by WESTERN ELECTRIC on all models of Candlestick and Wall Telephones that had their most popular model of Transmitter Faceplate. It was held in place by 1 of the regular upper Faceplate screws and the pressure of the base of the WESTERN ELECTRIC Bakelite cone mouthpiece.
