This is a "WESTERN ELECTRIC" telephone handset for folks with "weak speech". It is a "New-Old-Stock" G-7 Handset. It amplifys the transmitter section of the handsetso if you can't speak up normally just roll the volume control switch towards "9". Probably not made for women, who have a tendency to yell anyway!
