Up for auction is this unique pair of Western spurs. They depict a womans leg holding the rowl. They are overlayed with silver and what I believe to be copper. The lady who gave me these to put on eBay for her said they were her grandfathers spurs from the early 1900's.One of the silver covers that goes on the button w the strap goes on is missing as shown in the picture. These spurs were used but they are still in good condition. On one side of the spur t are silver leaves and an engraved square with copper on each side of the square. On the other side t is an engraved elongated triangle. The top of the leg,the garter and the shoe are overlayed with silver. The leg itself is overlayed with copper. The iron portion does have some rust deposits but not to bad.I did not try to clean them up.I could not find any markings on the set. If you collect spurs this is one set you really need.Satisfaction guaranteed if item not as described.I am putting another set of spurs up for auction so if you should purchase both sets I would combine the items to save you on shipping cost.
