"Then at last his gaze was held: wall upon wall, battlement upon battlement, black tower of adamant, he saw it: Barad-dûr, Fortress of Sauron. All hope left him."Considered to be the greatest fortress in all of Middle-Earth, Barad Dûr was the Dark Lord Sauron's main fortress, from which evil sprung out to the rest of the lands. It was originally built in the Second Age and razed after Sauron's defeat in the War of the Last Alliance. Sauron had Barad-dûr rebuilt during the Third Age as he rose back into power, but the tower was forever destroyed immediately following the destruction of the One Ring, as it was constructed and held together using the Ring's dark magic. This is by far the most detailed 'tower' constructed by Weta and Sideshow/Weta and definitely the most sought after. Makes for an amazing centerpiece for your Lord of the Rings collection. This item is brand new, inspected only never displayed. Limited to 1,000 ever made. Very rare to find.Damage to big boxes is not unusual during shipping. No two pieces are ever identical. Minor imperfections are to be expected with Sideshow/Weta items. Ultimately, it is what makes each piece unique. All graphics were used from the free web source. I do not claim any trademark or copyright to any graphics used in this template.
