Uruk-hai Berserker Retired Item SOLD OUT! Limited Edition #1029 of 3000 VERY HARD TO FIND! This item is an original, Lord Of The Rings Collectible and was created by winning Visual Effects artist, Jamie Beswarick & Steve Unwin and created by Sideshow/Weta Collectibles. Of all the divisions of Saruman's vast Uruk-hai army to lay siege to Helm's Deep, the Berserkers were perhaps the most terrifying. Painted with the emblem of their lord, shaved bald and blood-smeared, these crazed warriors, largest of the Uruk-hai, wore no armour of any sort. Not expected to live, their sole purpose was to break and strike terror into the enemy lines, buying time for their armoured comrades to gain the walls of the fortress. These statues are all hand painted and cast in polystone to exactly represent the characters shown in the LOTR films. Many of the WETA items are limited addition, which is shown on the outside/bottom of the original box and hand painted on the bottom of each statues display base.
