Please note , The hatchets shown are not included. I have a custom leather sheath for the Wetterlings Expedition hatchet and the Wetterlings small hand axe hatchet or buddy hatchet. This sheath is made from quality veg tan tooling leather , it is hand sewn and fitted to the hatchet for a great fit. There is a welt inside to protect the sheath from the blade edge , and I waxed the inside to help protect the axe head from moisture . The sheath has a removable belt loop or leave it as is, the brass buckle and strap hold the hatchet in the sheath securely . I have been using the same sheath for my Wetterlings hatchets for 3 years now with no problems. Last I apply Finland's bear dressing grease to the sheath to protect the leather and you should too once in a while . You can use leather conditioner of your choice. This sheath is designed to last with proper care , for hiking , camping and hunting or just to carry on your property doing chopping chores. By having the hatchet with you at all times gives you easy access to your hatchet and to secure it when not in use to prevent loss. I only make one of these at a time once in a while and list one when available. Thank you for reading, enjoy the outdoors.
