c 1890 WANG HING CHINESE EXPORT SILVER HAMMERED DRAGON TALCUM POWDER FLASK REPOUSSE SOLID SILVER IMPERIAL FIVE TOED EXCELLENT CONDITION 4.8 OUNCES C1890 Chinese export silver repousse hand Hammered Imperial Dragon Talcum Powder flask. Signed by WH 90 & Chinese characters.Wang Hing Hong kong 1875-1925. Classical oblong shape. Talcum powder flask has a rotating slotted top for shaking the powder out. Gently sloped shoulders a Banded collar,slightly tappered body and banded base. Large repousse Dragon swimming threw vapors and flames with Hand hammered background, Extremely Rare Imperial five toed Dragon in high relief. The dragon has a large gapping mouth full of razor tipped fangs, pointy horns, bulging eyes and shaggy mane. The dragons is covered with diamond shapped scales of alternating size and shape. Dragons body completely wraps it self around the body of the flask . In repousse this is very diffucult. Highest quality. Solid silver, warm patina.
