This is such a good looking clock. The body is made of white or cream colored bakelite, with a metal backplate. The molded body is very curvy, has a raised mantle that drops over the shoulders, and a raised botyo. edge on each side that serves as feet and raises it from the table top. The crystal that covers the face is a nice piece of glass, with a tight fit. The face says Sessions in italic print, and the numerals are classic art deco. The hands also are deco, with a rectangular minute hand, an open hour hand, and bright red second hand. The back has some scratches. It includes a time set knob, an alarm set and on-off switch, and a wire that shows where an electric supply cord has been cut off. I suspect this may have been an auto clock that wired into the dashboard, for several reasons: It has no plug and may have been direct-wired, it is the right age and style for an early add-on accesdory clock, and its very similar in style and size to auto clocks Ive seen before.Obviously, it can be used on a desk or mantle. It would be easy to rewire with a plug, also. This clock has a very classic look with a good condition case that is a rare survivor.
