This is an original 14" by 22" window card movie poster for the 1954 Paramount Pictures Irving Berlin Holiday classic White Christmas! Way back in 1942, Irving Berlin and Bing Crosby collaborated on a film salute to the holidays, all of the holidays, but when Bing Crosby began to croon, "I'M DREAMING OF A WHITE CHRISTMAS" to world war II era audiences, a new holiday Christmas standard! Flash forward to 1954, Irving Berlin crafted a lavish technicolor musical based on the hit song! Once again starring Bing Crosby, this time joined by funnyman Danny Kaye comprising the Wallace and Davis comedy unit, and joined by the Haines sisters, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen! And with another great group of Irving Berlin songs, Sisters, Count Your Blessings, SNOW, and of course, White Christmas! Window cards were issued way back when to movie theatres to help market and promote the film, Printed on heavier paper stock like lobby cards, they were/are very popular! This one has top white part slightly trimmedposter has a vertical fold center, some smudging left border both borders have that crease from being in a display cabinet, otherwise images are TERRIFIC, overall a great vintage movie poster!
