This listing is for a vintage Sterling Silver and White Niello Enamel link style necklace that dates to the 1960s Vietnam War era. This necklace has a wearable length of 16". The necklace is composed of 9 links with the white enamel. It closes with a hook and eye clasp. This type of Niello enamel work is becoming a lost art in Thailand and is highly collectible. Most Siam jewellery you find is made from sterling silver, with black 'enamel ' style detail. The black and silver jewellery is called Siam Silver nielloware, after the black enamel style technique called niello used in its creation.
