WHITE-RUMPED SANDPIPERby HAROLD VAN DYCKfrom CLAYTON, DELAWARE The White-rumped Sandpiper winters in Argentina. It's a small sandpiper and has a straight bill and white rump.I individually hand carved and painted this bird. It is shown in its breeding plumage. The carving on the base is approximately 6 ½ inches tall and 7 inches wide. I signed the bird under the tail and on the bottom of the base.I live near the birds feeding grounds along the Delaware Bay where my firsthand observations have been my inspiration. I have been carving birds for over 35 years.This decoy carving would make a nice addition to your collection or a lovely gift of original artwork for your favorite bird enthusiast.TERMS OF SALEPayPal is the required form of payment.The buyer pays for shipping via USPS Priority mail.
