R.M.S.OLYMPIC Here we have a section of First Class Oak Staircase Panel.Included is a section of the framing that went between the panels.The main face is still the original finish and only the border has been painted during its time at the Paint WorksThe panel is 14"x 10"x 1/2" thick the Frame is 10"x3"x 1"This will make a nice addition to any White Star Line collection. The same Paneling was fitted to her sister the ill Fated TITANICN.B cost of shipping to the USA has risen. The price quoted is the actual shipping cost as I do not charge extra for packaging Etc There is no reserve on this itemRest assured that you are buying genuine Olympic timbers from the person that owned the Paint works and that held the auction in 2004 to sell off the fittings of which I still have a quantity left There will be a Certificate of Authenticity and a short history of Olympics service and of the time the fittings were at the Paint works. In 1935 Olympics fittings were auctioned at Palmers Ship yard in Jarrow on the Tyne by Knight Frank & Rutley. A large quantity of her fittings were bought to fit out a new Office and Canteen at the Paint works of Smith and Walton. They remained at the Haltwhistle Paint Works until September 2004 when I held an auction to sell off Her fittings.Please feel free to ask any questions
