The item up for bid is an exact recreation of one of the most poignant passenger items yet recovered from the debris field of R.M.S. Titanic. The item is a toothpaste jar which was issued for use by First Class passengers onboard R.M.S. Titanic in her sumptuous staterooms and parlour suites. This reproduction of the original brand of "John Gosnell & Company's Cherry Toothpaste" jar is an exact likeness of the original artifact right down to the slight cracking on the surface of the jar's glaze to simulate years of age during the firing process. This item looks just like the vintage item that is priceless! The original item was recovered by the recovery teams of R.M.S. Titanic Inc. and can be seen in the popular book "Titanic, Legacy of the World's Greatest Ocean Liner." The jar measures 2" in height and 3 1/4" in diameter. Winning bidder to pay $5.85 for USPS Priority 2-day shipping including insurance within the US. Payment shall be made by money order or allow 7 days for personal check to clear. Payment should be made within 10 days of auction conclusion.
