Stuart Clingman, one of the pioneers of Mid-Century Modern, Danish-inspired furniture design. Along with his contemporaries T. H. Robsjohn-Gibbings and George Nakashima, Clingman was a highly sought-after furniture designer who produced some of the finest designs for John Widdicomb and other Grand Rapids manufacturers.
