Wilderness Welcome is a limited edition, signed andnumbered, print by Stephen Lyman. The print evokes a feeling of peace and tranquilityas the light from the cabin beckons the viewer to a warm winter night within. The print is personally signed by the late Stephen Lyman, who died accidentally from a fall in Yosemite in April, 1996. The limited edition of 8,500 is sold out -- as is the case with almost every Stephen Lyman work. The image size is 38 x 14.5 inches and has been archivally framed. The original certificate of authenticity is attached on the back side. The print and frame are in pristine condition. The print alone usually sells elsewhere on eBay for $1,050. About the Artist: Stephen Lyman was an explorer who specialized in painting the most elusive moments in nature. Stephen Lyman's work was inspired by the writing and teaching of the famous naturalist John Muir. Stephen Lyman’s love of the outdoors stemmed from a childhood spent in the Pacific Northwest, where hiking in Snake River country was a regular family ritual.Stephen Lyman's desire to share his admirations for the outdoors was strong, but he enrolled in the Art Center School of Design in Pasadena, California, to learn more about the commercial art field.
