A very interesting cup and saucer made by Wileman (Pre Shelley). The cup is two inches tall by two inches at the mouth. This is about the same size as the Mocha shape if you are a Shelley Collector. The saucer is 5 inches across. There is a tiny bit of paint bleeding in the saucer where the cup sits very common in the Imari colors. I've taken a photo of the saucer for you to view. The saucer also has some gold loss around the rim that doesn't show because of the busy pattern. Last, I'm not sure about the two Wileman back stamps because they are different in color, one being red, the other blue. The set would fit nicely in a curio cabinet and the Worcester shape is very hard to acquire. Made in the late 1800's to early 1900's.I'm listing a lot of Shelley and Wileman this week so you may want to stop in again. If you Your item will be wrapped with care.
