Williams #4949 4-6-2 Locomotive w/ working Lights & Tender. . . for restoration ! All ORIGINAL parts here . vintage WILLIAMS TRAIN CO.. the 4-6-2 Locomotive has a strong Motor that works well, the Light Works w/ good wiring. This is a heavy - well crafted pair. the Locomotive may be the #4949 w/ brass construction, and the Tender is a heavy metal car. Unfortunately the Loco needs two repairs and a good cleaning. the back wheels truss needs repair & the drivers side "Wheel propel Bar" needs a solder repair too. this and the Tender have only been surface cleaned by me.. but still have an oily coating that will need attention. I have tried to show photos of rust inside the Locomotive and on wheel plate areas of the Tender (the wheels are all VERY nice > only the plate needs wool..) the overall cleaning of these nice items is unfortunate but at least the motor, mechanisms and wheels still work quite well. . Actually a Very solid restorable Locomotive. both have paint chips and surface wear > showing BRASS underneath ! the couplers are all fine / intact without damages... please see all photographs !
