Thanks for looking at this 1b-2001-131-2 driverboard (seen in photo outlined in orange) All electronics are tested to ensure proper operation. Resistors are upgraded to eliminate burning and board failure (very common problem) All outputs and inputs,connectors,solder joints have been checked, and checked again using a stress method that williams used before shipping these pins from the factory. Q:How will know if this is the problem with my game? A:T is a description list below of most every problem we've seen, also check our site or contact us) if t are different problems not listed a qualified tech will be to answer your pinball question .Q:What if i need a different board or need repairs? A:We stock most early Williams boards and have custom enhanced testing equipment to get boards repaired based on customer volume in under a week .Q:How are these replacement boards repaired? am i getting a reliable board that will last? A:Yes we assure this,All our repaired boards are scope tested to ensure long life, the lamp rows and columns and load tested,all coil outputs are pulsed randomly, all switch returns and strobes are checked under burn in procedures to ensure a quality repair and long life. Q:Why do other repair shops take so long to reply to my emails? A: we are Chicago based and own many of the testing fixture equipment rigs needed to repair these boards correctly in a timely manner. T are many other repair and test methods that result into early board failure most are satisfactory shop procedures which can cause frequent comebacks, we recognize this because the boards were not properly load tested before leaving tech's bench and tfore some techs are nervous to offer a practical warranty, I've seen repairs over the years that were tested on a pinball machine when completed, some are quickly run for a few seconds then shipped off to the recipient. This method is poor as all early Williams pinball machines vary inputs and outputs, our refurbished boards are cycled 3 or more times and run for several hours to ensure proper factory burn in. We don't use the "hit or miss" or trial and error method leaving out critical repairs unseen the board usually fails shortly or still has problems after purchase and be back to step one.Don't take chances. This board will work with Gorgar Firepower Black Knight and many other Williams Pinballs Starting at the year 77 with the first games Lucky Seven and Hot Tip way ahead to 1985 games Just ask. This board is the one that receives signals to control Lamps,Coils,Bumpers, Switches,Displays,eject holes,slings etc. Usually one or more of the large chips fail causing lockup to the entire board. This lock up is the culprit to other part failures due to the shorting out state the chip(s) are in. Replace yours if you are having the following problems: 1)Turning on the machine and a coil is stuck on or when a game is started a bumper and /or sling sticks on. 2)Some lamps are not working after bulb replacement.3)Scores displaying missing digits (example_0_0_0_) 4)Sound or voice are herd right when game is turned on Note: a stuck coil can cause overheating on the driverboard and burn a hole Turn power off quickly the board is shorted and needs repairs.5)Some targets dont register, cannot add credits, game wont start after cleaning/adjustment ect. 6)Nothing at all and both led's are lighted on cpu.7)Lower right resistors are burned board is near shorting out and needs replacement. This board can replace a bad one and is tested 100% and will work beyond game specs.
