Hi! Up for "My Buy It Now" or your "Best Considered Offer" is a beautiful FA-1 Powered and Dummy Williams Locomotive Train Set produced by the Bachmann Corporation within the last five years. I would guess these units were made to compete with the similar highly collectible Baltimore and Ohio F-3's Lionel produced in the early 1950's. To acquire that set today would certainly cost a great deal of money. This set sems to me a much better purchase because these units are really well made and more modestly priced. The grey and blue coloration on these pieces are certainly deeper, the frames are all die cast and although untested, I am sure they will run very well. Essentially these units are similar to the original and very popular F-3's under various road names that Lionel produced throughout the 1950's. Features include a three position E-Unit (although electronic), a horn and illuminated cabs and operating knuckle couplers on both fronts. Hopefully the pictures do justice to them and truly illustrate the quality and atrractive graphics that have been put into these units.
