This auction is for a 1961 Williams Deluxe Batting Champ. Batting Champ is the last of the Williams wood rail baseball games as well as the last of the games with the holes in the playfield for the ball to go into. By hitting the different holes on the playfield, the men in the running man unit in the back will pop up and run around the bases. It is a one player game and is the replay version meaning that you can win extra games. It has three red ramps that light up that you can hit the ball up to get a home run. If you are really good, you can hit the ball in the super home run hole. That awards an extra game. This machine has been repainted. The cabinet was stripped and all imperctions were repaired. It was then painted with the original colors and graphics using stencils made from the original artwork. The wood trim has been refinished as well. This game works and plays very well. The mechanics have been gone through with every mechanism disassembled, cleaned, and adjusted. All of the contacts have been cleaned as well. All of the coin gear is present but it is set up on free play. The backglass is a Pesco replacement. It is screen printed on plexiglass, which is good because the paint sticks to the plexi much better than the original glass. You should never have to worry about the paint flaking off of this one. T are only a couple of small places w the paint has been scraped off from sliding the glass in and out over the years. Please feel free to ask any questions. I WILL SHIP THIS GAME using NAVL or you are welcome to come and pick it up. Thanks and good luck.
