WILLIE DIXON AUTOGRAPH 1980s Excellent Willie Dixon (1915-1992) was one of the greatest bluesmen of all time, both as a writer and as a performer. His songs were covered by all the major blues and rock bands including Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and many many more. My significant other and I were privileged to see him perform at the Lone Star in Kansas City in the 1980s, w he graciously gave us his autograph. The signature is in blue ink on stiff board stock (the back of a cut down Miller beer ad). It is crisp and clean with a flourish beneath, although the scan image does not do it justice.
