VINTAGE WINCHESTER AMMO BOX - wood dove-tailed box construction- indented groves on shorter sides for hand holds- wood is rough (not smooth)- some of the writing is faded- piece of wood is chipped off one corner (see picture #4)- Tar or something black is on inside bottom of box (see picture #2)- the remains of some 'Railway Papers' are still on one end- box size is approximately: 15" long x 12" wide x 6" high- writing on long sides of box; Small Arms Ammunition Metallic Cartridges Manufactured By The WINCHESTER Repeating Arms Co. New Haven, Conn. U.S.A- Writing on short ends that I can read: Hollow Point Smokeless** there is an occasional nail hole in wood, a few specks of paint, but very Sturdy - Sold As Is **
