MELODY PENA'S DESCRIPTION: This is #1 of an "Artists Edition" coiled mother dragon, painted by Windstone's head painter, Olimpia Carapia. This dragon is a beautiful shade of copper gold, flecked with metallic gold. Olimpia has perfected the tricky technique of airbrushing metallics, transparent gloss layers and color to create a GORGEOUS deep, rich finish. This dragon has a sparkling high gloss finish. She is trimmed with 18k gold paint on her points and wingribs, and is guarding a 24k gold plated pewter egg. She has yellow glass eyes, and a light golden yellow jewel in her forehead. She is 3 -7/8" long and about 2 -1/2" tall. An "Artist's Edition" is a term we made up to mean an edition that will be signed and numbered by the artist who created the color scheme and actually painted the piece. T isn't a set limit to the edition, but these Artist's editions will will remain rare, because the number of pieces produced are limited by the difficulty in producing these complicated colors!
