THE SECOND WORLD WAR6 Volume Folio Society Boxed Set. By Winston Churchill The Folio Society, London. 2000. Black and white photographs accompany the text. | 7" wide by 9.5" tall Set includes the following titles: I. THE GATHERING STORM (1948) II. THEIR FINEST HOUR (1949) III. THE GRAND ALLIANCE (1950) IV. THE HINGE OF FATE (1951) V. CLOSING THE RING (1952) VI. TRIUMPH AND TRAGEDY (1954) CONDITION: Very good. 6 Volume set from the Folio Society printed on Caxton Wove paper at the Bath Press and bound in three-quarter buckram and printed wraps over cloth. Housed in a pair of brown card slipcases. Slipcases show a few very minor scuffs to exterior. Binding is tight and firm on all volumes. Minimal shelf wear, all edges are crisp, books appear in unread condition. Interior contents are free of defects. No smudges, no writing or underlining, no creases or tears.
