LOVELY CHANDLER PASTEL CHALK PAINTING WITH SIGNATURE - ORIGINAL FRAME. Dates to somewhere in the early 1900s. Hopefully you can see the signature in the photo close up of the lower part of the pastel. This is a winter scene which is by far rarer than the most typical landscape content done by Chandler. We have owned this in our own collection for over 30 years. The original frame dimensions are about 26-1/2 inches long and approximately 10-1/2 inches wide. Frame is in good shape but with the exception of some paint loss in the inner area - see last photo. There is a label at the top on the back of the frame which contains the words "Eitels Milwaukee". We are not familiar with this company; maybe was an art dealer or framer? The pastel itself is in nice shape with no staining. There is some chalk loss when closely examined but appears very nice when on the wall. A nice Chandler example indeed for an collection. Sorry; No international shipments. Shipping costs include insurance. If after shipment, the actual shipping costs are less than the shipping charges received by 50 cents or more, we will refund 100% of the excess shipping $$ received. We are not interested in making $$ on shipping charges.
