A set of Wintered Over Bars for the Antarctica Service Medal, included are bars in Bronze, Silver and Gold. The silver bar is sterling silver and the gold bar is probably brass. The Bronze bar is hall marked SIMON for the EH Simon company and the silver bar is hall marked V for Volupte which had the original contract for the medal in the 1960's.
