WINTERHALDER & HOFMEIER 8-DAY ANTIQUE CLOCK in walnut case measuring 21" High x 15" Wide x 9" Deep. Thought to have been made in the 1920's. Recently acquired as part of an inheritance from my aunt who owned the clock for about 50 years. She always kept the clock in her hallway in pride of place so that it could always be admired by her visitors Walnut case in exceptional condition with hardly a mark except for two small indentations on the top. The clock is in full working condition and keeping excellent time once adjusted on the front dial (see picture). The chimes are fully working with a two tone chime on the quarter hour, which doubles up for the half hour and trebles up for the threequarter hour. T is then one deep chime for each number of hours. I would very much like to keep this family heirloom but it would look totally out of place in my small modern home. I would say that this clock would bring a lot of pleasure to someone who has the right home for it or indeed to any decerning collector. Buyer pays all shipping costs.
