WIRELESS SET B44 : MICROPHONE HAND No.13 : LARKSPUR SERIES : POST WW2 RADIO / WIRELESS Description: In addition to my recent listing of a Wireless Set B44 MkIII, I have found a further microphone of the correct pattern for these types of sets. It's in good condition for its age with correct plug and mounting ring that secures the microphone to the WS B44 Tripod microphone clip when not in use. A new rubber mouthpiece has been fitted as the original one was missing. Three rusty countersunk screws that secure the back plate of the microphone have also been replaced. The cable has a plastic type outer cover of the period and is sound except for a couple of nicks shown in photos 9 &10. These are really very small and have not penetrated through the inner screening. The cable remains supple throughout its length. Have a look at the 10 photos which give a good representation of the condition. I am unable to test this microphone so its offered on that basis. Note: Postage shown is by Royal Mail Second Class 'Signed For', and for UK Mainland. I will post overseas but the postal cost will be considerably more expensive. Overseas bidders must request a shipping cost before placing a bid.
