Probably the last I'll list of this lovely Flow Blue pattern, will be the 5 listings today. I have also set aside an entire dinner service (8 place settings and serving pieces) that I'll list later in the Fall. FLOW BLUE Piece: Oval Covered Vegetable Bowl or Side Dish Mfr: Wm. Guerin & Co. Origin: Limoges, France Pattern: scalloped edge (large scallops containing smaller scallops) no pattern name found Detail: dark cobalt flow, fading to white (does bleed thru to back in heaviest areas on flat pieces), brushed gold trim to rim, painted scalloped mid-body application, thick line & brushed area to base of bowl. T are areas in relief and with raised points, and the gold work accents these. The gold is even applied to the underside of the rim of the lid and the inside of the rim of the bowl (see this in the photos) Fabrique pour (made for): ARTHUR KAYE, Louisville, USA (resident of KY, 1858-1925) Size: 11 1/8" (including handles) x 6 3/4" x 4 3/4" (this bowl is a very squarish OVAL, the others in the service are more conventionally oval) Condition: Excellent.
