We are pleased to offer 42 pieces of silverplated flatware in the pretty Devonshire aka Marylou pattern, introduced by William Rogers and International Silver in 1938. The winning bidder will receive the following: eight 9 1/2-inch solid handle dinner knives with stainless steel blades, eight 7 1/2-inch grille or viande forks, seven 6-inch salad or dessert forks, five 7 3/8-inch tablespoons or oval soup spoons, eight 6 1/8-inch teaspoons, two 8 1/2-inch serving spoons, one 8 3/4-inch berry or casserole serving spoon, one 8 5/8-inch meat serving fork, one 6-inch sugar spoon, and one 7-inch master butter knife. That's seven 4-piece place settings, plus extras and serving pieces! Dinner knife blades are marked "Wm. Rogers Stainless." All other pieces are marked "Wm. Rogers" and "I S." Each also has the eagle and star marks. Upon close inspection, we note some plate loss toward the ends of some dinner fork tines. We also note tiny bits of plate loss on the edges of some spoon bowls. This is not easy to see. Finally, we note a pit in the bowl of the berry or casserole serving spoon. All pieces are otherwise in good to very good condition. Lovely! Please ask questions before bidding and be sure to see our other listings for more Devonshire aka Mary Lou pieces. We're always happy to combine items for shipment to save you money.
