You are bidding on a silverplated coffee/tea set consisting of 5 pieces by Wm Rogers. This set has a beautiful shell/art nouveau design. I believe copper (or mixture tof) is the underlying material, as it does peek through on some pieces. Each piece as described: 1. Silverplated tray - Very ornate and HEAVY! This tray weighs over six pounds. Tray measures 18 3/8" x 14 3/8" excluding handles. Measures 23 1/2" long handle to handle. Marked Wm Rogers 290. T is an eagle and a star on Hallmark. Tray is in very good condition with minor scratches in the middle. Silverplate is intact with the exception of the copper color showing through in the middle. It gives it a lovely patina. The back does have minor wear through on on all 4 corners w tray rests on table. 2. Teapot - Measures approx. 9 1/2" tall, is footed, hinge intact, handle intact. The lid stays open just a crack, but I'm sure someone with knowledge can correct this. T is some of the copper color coming through at join marks on body. Marked Wm Rogers, eagle before mark, star after. 3. Coffepot - Measures 10 1/2" tall, hinge intact, handle intact. In very good overall condition, with some slight copper color coming through at join marks on body. Marked like teapot. 4. Sugar container with lid - Measures 5 3/4" with lid on.
