Up for your consideration is a wonderful late 19th century painted bow with seven (7) matching arrows. This set is very ornate and is apparent that the same maker of the arrows also made the bow. They were not purchased separately and came as a set from a well known auction house. I will provide that information to the buyer when the sale is final. The bow measures roughly 43 inches in length not following the curve. The arrows are 22 inches in length. The fletchings on the arrows vary in condition. The iron tips are secured with sinew. The bow itself is also hand painted and has a trade wool wrap in the center secured with a brain tanned thong. The set has wonderful patina and would compliment anyones native american collection. These are no " reproductions " as seen frequently seen on eBay. They are " original " and I will guarantee them as such. I believe the bow, along with the matching set of arrows are " Sioux " in origin. This is a 30-day auction with a buy-it-now feature of $2,100.00 for the complete set. Reasonable and respectable offers are considered. Please ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them in a timely fashion. Decent arrows can reach as high as $250.00 a piece on the open market. There are seven matching arrows and the bow. I apologize that I can not get a good photo of the entirety of the bow and read more
