Wonderful Antique Brussels Point De Gaze Lace Collar c. 1880 For auction is a wonderful Brussels Point De Gaze lace collar from about 1880. The workmanship and design are quite beautiful and the condition is excellent. This lace is getting rare and is very popular. Brussels introduced this wonderful lace in the 1850s, and it has been coveted ever since. Even at that time it was highly priced. The quality is amazing and unique. The colour is antique white. The last two pictures are the reverse side of the lace. Never used. Museum quality, a real piece for collectors. It is from my own collection, and I have bought many years ago in Paris. Measures: 15" - 38 cm length at neckline, 2" - 5 cm width. This is a private selling.
