I am pleased to offer a marvelous find...straight out of a PA barn...this piece is fresh to the market. A wonderful example of American folk art at its best! This clever character is made of solid wood and carries simply the best primitive charm. Painted in a bright shade of yellow, this duck is the best! He features a simple orange beak, a simple black eye and lines to show the texture of feathers in all their glory. The inside of this piece is painted a deep barn red which compliments this piece perfectly. I am unsure if this is just a handmade toy or perhaps a salesman's sample...not quite sure...I just know it is just divine! Rocks perfectly. Would only add to an existing collection or display it independently...so many possibilities. Display it on a mantle, antique hutch, cabinet or bench...it adds such character to any spot. This is a one of a kind museum quality find. Measures 14 inches from beak to tail and almost 9 inches tall. Proudly offered at a very low starting price and no reserve.
