I love this quilt so much. Wonderful old old hand stitched and tied crazy quilt. Is mostly wool, probably made from suit and coat castoffs. Has a feed sack backing to the top - you can see it (and read them) on some of the patches that have worn thin - probably dress remnants, they look like velvets and satins. Has plaid flannel backing with yarn ties. I love these quilts that are so obviously made with love and thrift - using the fabrics from worn out clothing and turning them into something so special.
