Wonsan, North Korea, Lot of 3 Meiji/Taisho Era Postcards, Fold-Out, Hand Tinted LOT OF 3 KOREA POSTCARDS 1910 WONSAN (NORTH KOREA), JAPANMEIJI For your consideration is this lot of 3 vintage postcards featuring Korea. 2 of the cards measure 5 ½ inches by 3 ½ inches, both being collotypes with hand tinting to one; both are circa 1915 Taisho Era. The third card, Meiji Era, measures 17 inches by 3 ½ inches, essentially consisting of 3 cards as one; this card is a black and white collotype with a long handwritten message on the reverse. Overall Very good. They are as follows: - View of Wonson (note the flying Japanese flag in what is now North Korea), - A Holiday in the Country, Korea, - Minami-Daimon Street, Korea.
