Plank on frame hardwood model of American Revenue Cutter about 1815. These little ships armed with a single rotating carronade and lots of sails went out and took on the world. Plus about 60 men on-board with blunderbusses , cutlasses, lances and lots of nerve. These were the first U.S. Coast Guardsmen. Their prey were smugglers, Pirates ,slavers and damsels in distress. The kit is new and un-molested with parts box still sealed. Makes a nice size model 22inches long and about 20 inches tall x 5inches abeam. Rigging is complex enough you can feel good about showing it off without frustrating yourself so bad it's never completed A nice kit to get started with and have a model and not a toy boat. Thank You
