Early tool used for boring and drilling holes in wood. Crafted from one piece of wood, usually selected for its lack of knots and strength. Probably one of the earliest forms of cordless drilling system. Needs screws in metal support plates. Probably manufactured on some of earliest wood tuning lathes and forming equipment. Great for exhibit in display of period tooling.(1700-1800's)
