Native American Indian Woodpecker Oklahoma River Cane Flute by Choctaw Flute Maker - Charles Frazier This NEW Oklahoma River Cane Woodpecker Flute was made by Charles Frazier - Native American Choctaw Craftsman from Oklahoma. Charles has been making and playing river cane flutes for many years. Charles Frazier has played Native American Flute for many Powwows and other groups. He recently played for the World War II Veterans gathering and for the Cancer Survivors Group from St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City. Charles is recognized in Oklahoma as one of the best Native American Flute players and makers around. We sell many of his wonderful flutes in our store in Oklahoma City and I have sold many out on eBay with rave reviews from the buyers. This 6 hole flute is made from Oklahoma River Cane with decorations of a wood burned Bear Design and a hand hand painted head in brilliant colors of Red and Yellow. It has soft leather ties. It is signed by Charles inside a woodburned Bear Paw and measures 31 1/4" long x 1" in diameter. The finger holes are approx. 5/8" apart. It is made in the key of "C" with all the holes covered according to my Chromatic Tuner....I am not musically inclined so I hope this is correct. Sorry, I do not have a sound clip. This flute has a very nice voice and is sure to please you. Charles Frazier
