A Worcester Sauceboat, C 1760, Compagnie des Indes pattern For auction is a charming Worcester sauceboat enamelled with the Compagnie des Indes pattern. Undulating upper rim, gadrooned, and at footrim. Lovely crisp enamelling. T are no chips, cracks or any restoration to this piece. You will find some kiln dust, a slight bit of wear to the enamelling on the sprig of flowers directly underneath the spout, and some wear to the gold enamelling around the rim. A bit of tactile roughness to a 1" thin strip at the bottom of the footrim, w the glaze didn't quite cover the paste. 4 1/2 " spout to handle, 2 1/4" deep. Unmarked, but guaranteed Worcester of the period, with typical pegged glaze at footrim. Flat Rate shipping/handling contributions from the winning bidder are below, and include insurance .
