On offer is this wonderful Ansonia mantel clock . Working well, this 8 day time / strike clock is in a marble / alabaster case that measures 12" tall and 9 1/2" wide . A heavy clock with only very minor chipping to edges - very minor . A gilt dial with open escapement and white porcelain / enamel dial . Damage to porcelain / enamel dial between the 9 & 10 Roman numerals , black hands , No key . A metal column either side of thedial and decrative metal finials top front corners . Small metal decorative accent in the " temple " top . Wonderful veined marble and weighing 19 pounds unwrapped . Insurance added at time of invoice . Dial marked with Ansonia trademark and name under the number 6 . Back metal door missing the holder for the hooked part . Original Ansonia movement patented June 1884 . Working and striking well.
